Don't think I'm proud because I was able to do this. I wasted my whole life, 10 hours are a drop in the ocean. though, suffering from deep depression and cronic insomnia, why not use one of the many nights in which I can't sleep doing this? And honestly, no one can tell me what is a waste and what is not. My life has never been easy, I always needed and I still need a lot of power of will to go on, and since yes, I have A LOT of free time, why don't try something crazy, and stupid if you want, like this? Many people say that this is a waste of time and life, which is true. Having often heard people lasting a couple of hours watching these 10 hours videos, I thought I could last a whole one, so I decided to try. On August 29th, 2012, YouTuber Jon Wiedyk uploaded a recording of the pirate-themed band The Dread Crew of Oddwood performing a cover of "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard" (shown below), accumulating upwards of 175,000 views and 275 comments in the following year.I know this looks pretty crazy, but being a talentless person who can't do anything relevant, this is what came into my mind. On January 3rd, 2008, YouTuber Paperyoshiii uploaded a video featuring the Isengard song over footage from the children's online game Club Penguin (shown below, left). Within six years, the video garnered more than 180,000 views and 570 comments. On March 12th, 2007, YouTuber littledib uploaded a remix video using scenes from the Nintendo DS game series Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney accompanied by Beekveld's song (shown below).

On May 11th, 2006, YouTuber Aaron Hardbarger reuploaded the Albino Blacksheep video to YouTube, where it gained over 12.5 million views and 38,900 comments in the first seven years. Over the next several years, nine additional YTMND pages using Beekveld's song were created.

On August 12th, 2005, YTMND user rustynail submitted a page titled They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard!, featuring an animated GIF and looped audio track of Legolas repeating the line.
